This first conversation is a chance to share what’s bringing you in, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of my approach. We’ll also talk through your goals and scheduling fit to see how ongoing sessions could work best for you.
Counselling
Therapy sessions offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore what feels heavy or stuck — whether it’s anxiety, relationship challenges and boundaries, perfectionism, self-criticism, or repeated patterns that keep showing up. Together, we’ll move at your pace, uncover what’s holding you back, and co-create tools that help you feel steadier, clearer, and more present.
EMDR
EMDR is an evidence-based approach that helps process memories and experiences that continue to carry emotional weight. Sessions begin with preparation and resource-building to help you feel grounded and supported, and may include longer processing sessions. The work is structured and paced to reduce the intensity of distressing memories and support greater clarity, resilience, and ease in daily life.
OCD Counselling
OCD counselling begins with a thorough assessment to understand how obsessive thoughts and compulsions or rumination show up in your life. From there, we move into Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a carefully paced and supportive approach. Step by step, you’ll build confidence, tolerance, and more flexibility in how you respond to intrusive thoughts, rumination and compulsions.
