OCD Counselling

OCD counselling begins with a thorough assessment to understand how obsessive thoughts and compulsions or rumination show up in your life. From there, we move into Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a carefully paced and supportive approach. Step by step, you’ll build confidence, tolerance, and more flexibility in how you respond to intrusive thoughts, rumination and compulsions.

Melanie is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in South Surrey, BC. Melanie helps people who feel stuck—whether in anxious loops, trauma responses, or painful relationship patterns—move toward steadiness and self-trust. Her approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and practical. Drawing on CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and exposure-based therapy, she supports clients in gradually facing what feels intolerable, without pressure to rush the process.
